Spirit & Life will consist of monthly meetings, each being focused on a different, unique topic of the Catholic faith. With 24 themes over the course of three years (8 themes/year), the hope is that a person who attentively engages with all 24 themes will find their faith life, and the lived practice of that faith in everyday life, greatly enriched. The program can be repeated perpetually on a three-year cycle and is meant for everyone: both the well-learned, looking for more growth, as well as the novice, even a person who is looking to encounter the Catholic faith and its principles for the first time.
These 8 months are September, October, November, December, January, February, March and April.
Each month the selected theme will permeate all parts of Spirit & Life, including a three part, large group presentation by Father Chase (theology), Campus Ministry (evangelization), and Catholic Intellect (history). In conjunction with the themes, important supplementary readings will be provided (see "supplementary materials" on main Spirit & Life page) that will help augment one’s general grasp of the monthly theme. We hope Spirit & Life participants will, in addition to attending the monthly large group gathering, join ‘small groups’ consisting of friends and fellow parishioners and aim to completely internalize and put into action what they have learned.
